Finnish Sauna
After a challenging hike, the sauna is the perfect finishing touch. The heat stimulates your circulation, relaxes tight muscles, and prepares your body for recovery. While your body warms up, your mind will calm, and you’ll feel reborn. You’ll experience deep relaxation and inner peace. You’ll fall asleep more easily and wake up energized and ready for new challenges.
Before the sauna: Take a shower and drink plenty of water.
In the sauna: Use a towel, relax, and breathe deeply.
Alternate 10–15 minutes in the hot sauna with a cold shower or a dip in a stream. Repeat 2–3 times.
After the sauna: Replenish fluids with herbal tea or mineral water, and rest.
The optimal temperature in a Finnish sauna ranges from 80 to 100 °C.
